Karizoo Laboratories launches Osteopen® 100mg/ml injectable solution for dogs. The active substance is Osteopen sodium pentosan polysulfate, a NSAID with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant, fibrinolytic, stimulates irrigation cartilage and inhibits proteolytic enzymes.
Subcutaneous administration 0.3 ml/10 kg, four separate injections 5-7 days. Treatment may be repeated up to 3 cycles per year.
Indicated for the treatment of lameness and pain of degenerative joint disease or osteoarthritis in the skeletally mature dog.
